Add Your OpenStack Credentials
Cloud Credentials are needed by Scalr to manage your cloud infrastructure on your behalf. You can obtain the Cloud Credentials required by Scalr through your Cloud Services Provider.
For a detailed walkthrough on how to do so, read this page: Adding OpenStack Credentials - Walkthrough.
Create Roles for OpenStack
Before you start, ensure that your network and firewall configurations are correct and correspond to the information found on this page: OpenStack Configuration.
Start with launching a Server with a supported OS (view Importing Creating a Role from a non-Scalr Server) from your OpenStack control panel. Then, follow the steps described in Importing Creating a Role from a non-Scalr Server.
You might want to repeat this process multiple times to create multiple Scalr Roles. For example, you could create one Role for each Built-in Role Automation that Scalr supports.
Get Started With Scalr
To get started with Scalr, we recommend that you follow the 3 Tier Web Application - Deployment tutorial.
